MRQ is a venue unlike any other. Located trackside at Ascot Racecourse it provides guests with the opportunity to view the running of the BMW Perth Cup in pure luxury and comfort.

Taking cues from the sleek stylings of the New York bar scene and design inspiration from Flemington’s iconic Birdcage, MRQ brings a rare level of elegance and sophistication to Ascot.

The custom-designed interior features hardwood floors, carpeting, opulent decor and clean modern furnishings adding a touch of glamour to this already exceptional marquee.

MRQ is a premium venue that offers guests a unique and memorable race day experience. Providing a refined, relaxed setting, MRQ is well known for its attention to detail and impeccable styling. In addition to the obvious aesthetic differences, MRQ sets itself apart from other venues by strictly limiting ticket sales and not playing loud, overbearing dance music, ensuring comfort for all guests.

Despite being a temporary structure, MRQ feels more like an elegant hotel than a flimsy tent. Additionally, as ticket sales for MRQ are strictly limited guests are guaranteed more shade and space per person than any other venue on the course.

MRQ offers a day of captivating theatre, art and fashion set to an ambient soundtrack created by our feature DJ. Unlike other venues on the course we don’t play loud dance music but we do ensure the in-marquee entertainment on offer throughout the day complements the refined surroundings.

Besides the passing fashion, art and performances guests can take in a full racing program. As MRQ is located trackside on the final straight, it’s the perfect vantage point to watch all the action. If however, guests prefer to stay indoors, several large-screens are positioned around the marquee showing all the latest racing action. For convenience MRQ also offers an in-house tote.

To ensure all guests enjoy the day in a safe and comfortable environment, a team of discreet but proficient security professionals are on hand should any issues arise. We must remind patrons that MRQ is committed to responsibly serving alcohol and as such we reserve the right to refuse service to guests that are overly intoxicated. In rare cases we may ask such guests to leave.
